Joel is currently holding the position of group CEO and business development executive of ICU security. He was born in Hankey and after he matriculated he extended his academic achievements through a short course in marketing. He worked in the field as a guard for five years and in 2001 he was part of Nationwide Security where he was head of marketing. Joel was also a business development director at Nationwide Security. During his tenure at Nationwide Security he accumulated sales to the value of 8 million per annum landing MTN which gave Nationwide Security a definite national footprint. After serving Nationwide Security for for 11 years he established a company by the name of Sizwe Risk consultancy and immediately secured a 3-year contract with the value of 32 million. Joel aspire to be one of the most serious players covering “the entire risk management portfolio (physical guarding, electronic security systems, fire and cleaning services). After having some legal wrangling with one of the state departments a company by the name of lCU-security was born in 2017.
